Why this project exists

Israel has produced an extraordinary concentration of technologies and companies whose influence extends far beyond the country's borders. Many are familiar names. Others operate behind products, services and technologies millions of people use without realizing their Israeli origins.

Vital Services Research has undertaken an extensive initiative to identify and document 100 Israeli companies with significant innovation and real-world impact, with particular attention to their influence in the United States.

The research examines

  • Acquisitions and corporate relationships
  • Universities and research institutions
  • Military technology and programs including Unit 8200 and Talpiot
  • Founder and alumni networks
  • Technologies that produced subsequent companies
